The University of Manchester uses email marketing to improve student recruitment.

The University of Manchester is investing in email marketing to help drive student recruitment and has appointed Newsweaver as their email marketing provider. Using email, they will be implementing a communications programme that allows them to send relevant timely information to prospective students.

According to Jennifer Williams, Student Recruitment Manager at The University of Manchester, "Email provides a much more efficient and cost effective way to send information than print. As well as using email to communicate with both prospective students and offer holders, we are planning to roll out its use across a number of different departments within the university."

Newsweaver will be providing the software and support to drive The University of Manchester's email marketing programmes, in addition to providing email marketing and design consultancy services. The University of Manchester appointed Newsweaver because of their vast experience in email marketing for universities and because of the sophisticated levels of tracking and reporting built into the Newsweaver software.
